The Young Bucks are one of the most well known wrestling tag teams outside of the WWE. The Bucks consist of real-life brothers Nick and Matt Jackson. There has been plenty of speculation over the years if they would come over to the WWE. Speculation has increased after their fellow Bullet Club members (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) have all made the jump in the past couple months. On the most recent episode of the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast, The Young Bucks say they have never received a real offer from the WWE.
Matt Jackson says the Young Bucks have never received a real offer from the WWE:
“for one thing, we haven’t really exactly been available, especially because we’re under a guaranteed contract with Ring Of Honor right now and we’re with New Japan [Pro-Wrestling] too, so right now, we’re unavailable. But I understand, like, yeah, there [has] always been that talk, like, ‘why don’t they just make them an offer?’ And to tell you the truth, we’ve never actually had a real offer on the table” (Source: Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast. H/T Wrestling Inc).
Nick Jackson agreed, saying:
“yeah, there was never money on the table, like, where we could say, ‘oh, okay. We’ll be making this [amount of money].’ And we were available, what, seven months ago? No money offer [was made]” (Source: Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast. H/T Wrestling Inc).
I am a fan of the Bucks an think they would be a lot of fun in the WWE. I hope they do make the jump within a couple years as I think they are talented and a lot of fun to watch.
Let us know your thoughts on the Bucks and if you think they will ever come to the WWE.
