WWE Wrestlemania 33 Predictions – Roman Reigns vs the Undertaker

In one of the most highly anticipated matches at Wrestlemania 33, The Undertaker will be taking on Roman Reigns.

The feud began at the 2017 Royal Rumble match where Reigns was able to eliminate the Undertaker, throwing him over the top rope. It was clear from their stare down afterwards that things weren’t over between them. We have seen both of them get the better of one another over the past few weeks on RAW.

There are tons of questions surrounding this match. Will Roman Reigns turn heel? Will this be the final match of the Undertaker? Will the Undertaker pass the torch to Roman Reigns?

I think that the crowd reaction will be electric for this match. We have the Undertaker, who is one of the biggest legends in professional wrestling history. We also have Roman Reigns, who receives a (mostly negative) loud crowd response. It will be a lot of fun to hear how the crowd reacts to this one when they are face to face at Wrestlemania.

As for a prediction. I think that it is too big of an opportunity for Vince McMahon to pass up. Roman Reigns having bragging rights for his career as being one of two men that have defeated the Undertaker at Wrestlemania (the other being Brock Lesnar of course). With rumors of him needing hip surgery, I believe that this will be the final match for the Undertaker and he will want to go out on his back.

While saying that, I think WWE knows that fans will be PISSED by this result (if Reigns wins clean). That is why I think Vince pulls the trigger on the Reigns heel turn, having him cheat to win. It would be a way for fans to stomach the Undertaker losing at Wrestlemania to Reigns and would put a ton of heat on him in the process. To me, it seems like a win-win, especially if this is the final match of the Undertaker’s career.
