WWE vs NJPW Matches That Would Be Incredible

8) Daniel Bryan vs Zack Sabre Jr.

These two HAVE faced off before but it still remains a match that I REALLY want to see again. Both are known as the top technical wrestlers in the World. In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter awards (voted on by fans), Daniel Bryan has an award named after him for the best technical wrestler of the year. Bryan won the award every year from 2005 until 2013. The past 4 years the award has gone to Zack Sabre Jr.

Both have grown tremendously since they last faced off over a decade ago. I think many fans would like to see it happen again, myself included. Daniel Bryan is someone who you could put against any of the opponents on this list and it would be a lot of fun. My personal choice based on my card is against Sabre Jr.

7) Brock Lesnar vs Minoru Suzuki

I think that it is safe to say that Brock Lesnar is the top choice of WWE stars who you wouldn’t want to mess with in a shoot fight. He has the size and also the credentials, being a former UFC Heavyweight Champion.

As for NJPW, the guy that you probably wouldn’t want to mess with is Minoru Suzuki. He has 50 career MMA fights, including two wins against UFC Hall of Famer, Ken Shamrock. At the age of 51, Suzuki can still go. He recently put on some solid matches and has proven that he still has it.

It would be fun to see these two stand across from one another.

6) Andrade “Cien” Almas vs Tetsuya Naito

Almas (as La Sombra) is one of the founding members of the Los Ingobernables faction. Naito later joined and ended up forming an offshoot group, named Los Ingobernables de Japon.  These two have been allies for their careers but it would be fun to see them face off.

There is a story built-in already with Almas leaving Naito to go to WWE. I don’t think they have faced off in a singles match against one another before and I personally would love to see it.

Plus, both guys are incredible inside of the ring. No doubt in my mind that they could tear it up.
