WWE Survivor Series Rumors 2019

1) A WarGames Match Was Originally Being Considered

NXT will be involved at Survivor Series this year. As a result, that means it will be RAW vs Smackdown vs NXT for the first time ever.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there were some strong rumors that WWE was considering doing a WarGames match at the Survivor Series PPV. Here is what Johnson wrote:

WWE Survivor Series next month will be built around the idea that Raw, Smackdown and WWE NXT will all be competing for the first time against each other.  The PPV will be tri-branded.  There’s been some rumblings of a Wargames match for the PPV but we haven’t confirmed that is actually the case.  We keep hearing talk about it, however.

NXT is holding a Takeover the night before Survivor Series in Chicago and yesterday announced the first-ever Women’s Wargames match, so there will be two Wargames matches at Takeover, one for the men, one for the women.   It could always be possible that one of those will land on Survivor, but again, that is not confirmed.

This would have been the first WarGames match to ever take place on the WWE main roster. Unfortunately, it didn’t end up coming to fruition.
