— Gauntlet Match For The Tuwaiq Trophy (CONFIRMED)
WWE has officially confirmed a new match for the Super Showdown event. It will be a gauntlet match for the newly created Tuwaiq Trophy. The match will be Andrade vs AJ Styles vs Bobby Lashley vs Erick Rowan vs Rey Mysterio vs R-Truth.
This should be a good match. WWE has done well in their booking of gauntlet matches over the past year, so I am definitely excited about it.
My guess is that it will come down to AJ Styles and Erick Rowan as the final two.
Winner Prediction:
- I am going with AJ Styles winning. There are rumors that Styles could be facing off against The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 36. This could be a nice way to give Styles some momentum heading into that event.
3) Roman Reigns vs King Corbin
— Steel Cage Match (CONFIRMED)
WWE has officially confirmed a steel cage match for WWE Super Showdown. It will be Roman Reigns vs King Corbin.
This appears to be the final match of their feud. I think that most fans are ready for both guys to move on as we have seen them face off a bunch over the past few months.
This should be a solid match as they always seem to deliver together in the ring. I am just not very excited about it.
Winner Prediction:
- Roman Reigns will win here and move on to a new feud. He isn’t losing before Wrestlemania 36.
