10) The IIconics Didn’t Suffer From The Hometown Curse!
Billie Kay and Peyton Royce ended up winning their tag team match. If you are a long-time fan, you know that WWE typically has Superstars lose in their hometowns. Not this time as the IIconics avoided the hometown curse!
Happy for them!
Wait? What? WWE superstars aren’t suppose to win at home! #WWESSD #SuperShowDown

#WWESSD Nice of WWE to let the Iiconics win in their home country, usually they are weird about letting people lose in their home town.

11) Fans Weren’t Too Happy With The Placement Of The WWE Championship Match
WWE Super Show-Down featured a match for the WWE Championship. AJ Styles faced off against Samoa Joe. This was a match where there were no count outs or disqualifications.
Many fans were not thrilled with the placement of the match. This took place in the middle of the show:
And once again, WWE Championship match isn’t the main-event. Disrespect to the Title is real.#WWE #SuperShowDown #WWESSD

Even without Brock Lesnar and the Universal Championship on the line at a PPV, AJ Styles and the WWE Championship are treated like a midcard title match. #WWESSD

12) Some Awesome Selling By AJ Styles
Something that stuck out to me during the WWE Championship match was the selling from AJ Styles. He made some of Joe’s move’s look absolutely brutal. Just like this lariat:

AJ is one of the best seller’s in the business (in my opinion).
