7) Ronda Rousey Is Wrestling
I have been extremely impressed with Ronda Rousey so far in her WWE career. I thought that she would do well but I didn’t think that she would be this good, this quick. Her match at Wrestlemania 34 was one of my favorite of the year so far. She has also held her own in the singles matches that she has had over the past few months.
Another reason to be excited for Summerslam is that we get to see Ronda wrestle again. She will be challenging Alexa Bliss for the RAW Women’s Championship. I think that WWE has done a decent job building up this storyline and I am excited to see them face off.
I for one, am excited to see Ronda kick some ass on Sunday and for her to gain some more experience in the ring. Her matches have become must-watch TV for me and I am hoping for a good one on Sunday night!
6) Plenty Of Potential Title Changes
An interesting thing to watch out for on Sunday night is how many Titles will change hands. When looking at the match card, I could see several belts switching hands.
That includes both Women’s Championships and the Universal Title to only name a few.
If you are into Title changes, this event should be exciting for you. I think that we will be seeing plenty of new Champions after the event is over.
5) Brock Lesnar’s Universal Title Reign Is (More Than Likely) Over
I think that a majority of fans would agree that Brock Lesnar’s reign as Universal Championship has run its course. I think many are ready for something fresh when it comes to RAW’s top Title. Brock has held the belt for about a year and a half but has only defended it a handful of times.
The good news is that it looks like Brock’s Title reign is going to come to an end on Sunday night. WWE will probably have Reigns win the Title or a cash-in will happen to crown a new Universal Champion.
This isn’t a guarantee, but it seems very likely that Brock won’t be Champion anymore after the event is finished. I am looking forward to a change, whatever that might be.
4) A Potential Cash-In
As I mentioned above, a Money in the Bank cash-in is a strong possibility for Summerslam on Sunday night. The real question is, will it be Kevin Owens or Braun Strowman doing the cashing-in?
I personally love Money in the Bank cash-ins and always find them exciting. I especially am excited about the possibility that Kevin Owens could walk out as Universal Champion after the night is over.
This will be an interesting storyline to follow along with. If you are a fan of cash-ins, you should probably be excited about this event.
