Here is what we learned from this week’s episode of Smackdown Live.
1) Fans Were Confused By Charlotte Flair’s Character Direction
Smackdown Live this week kicked off with Charlotte Flair. The opening segment was a bit confusing and it left many fans wondering if she is now a heel or a babyface. Charlotte’s actions at Survivor Series were definitely those of a heel. While saying that, she says that she did it for the Smackdown locker room and for Becky Lynch to some massive cheers. She also faced off against the IIconics, who are both heels.
This left a lot of people confused:
So Charlotte is a face and heel? I’m lost #SDLive

2) Charlotte Flair Was Fined $100,000
After what Charlotte Flair did at Survivor Series, Paige announced that she had been fined $100,000.
It is not often that we see someone gets kayfabe fined in WWE, so this was interesting to see.
.@RealPaigeWWE might have liked what @MsCharlotteWWE did to @RondaRousey at #SurvivorSeries, but the #SDLive GM is STILL going to fine her $100,000!!! pic.twitter.com/SQF1XguIGI

3) WWE Seems To Be Trying To Mimic Becky Lynch’s Success With Charlotte Flair
After the opening few segments of Smackdown, many fans wondered if WWE was trying to book Charlotte Flair similar to Becky Lynch.
It looks like WWE is trying to turn Charlotte into a badass character like Becky. Charlotte destroyed both the IIconics and acted very cocky. If that is the case, I am not sure if it will work.
Charlotte is now a knockoff Becky lynch. Except in Vince’s eyes it’s the other way around

it just seems like they’re trying to make charlotte the face version of becky and it’s just awkward
