Here are 16 things that we learned from Smackdown this week.
Check out my 2025 WWE Summerslam predictions on Youtube.
1) Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch Received Jobber Entrances For Their Title Match
Smackdown Live featured a rematch between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. This was for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. If Becky was disqualified, she would lose the Title.
This match opened the show. This was a bit weird as WWE gave both of them jobber entrances. This means that they started in the ring without getting an entrance. Weird to see for a Title match:
Wait a minute this is for the Smackdown #WomensTitle and yet both women get jobber entrances? #SDLive

I’m sorry what. Both of them get jobber entrances? #SDLivd

2) I Take Back My Complaint About Jobber Entrances (aka I Am Happy That Becky vs Charlotte Got A Ton Of Time)
I overreacted a little bit in point number one. I am now totally okay with WWE cutting Becky and Charlotte’s entrances since they ended up getting a ton of ring time.
Becky and Charlotte’s match got the first 25 minutes dedicated to it. I would trade entrances for that any day of the week.
It’s about 15 minutes into Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair. A three segment match. Glad they are getting a lot of time. #SDLive

3) Charlotte vs Becky Ended In A Double Count Out
The Smackdown Women’s Championship match eventually ended in a double count out. As a result, Becky is still the Smackdown Women’s Champion (since the stipulation was only that she could not get disqualified from the match).
It’s not fun, Becky and Charlotte ends in a double count out but it’s 100% the right call.
Absolutely LOVE the post match stuff.
KUDOS to Charlotte and Becky#SDLive
