WWE Smackdown Results 10/02/2018 – Things That We Learned

16) Shinsuke Nakamura And The U.S Title Have Become An Afterthought On Smackdown Live

Another week, another absence from Shinsuke Nakamura and the United States Championship on Smackdown Live. Nakamura didn’t appear on the show this week and doesn’t have a match at WWE Super Show-Down.

They really need to figure it out.

Here is what we learned from RAW this week.

  1. Yes, it sucks booking wise what they done with Asuka on SD, but remember they just decided to invest in Becky after 2 years of her just being there on the roster. They had Mandy Rose beat her after all. Even though she lost her streak-which everyone was complaining about before she lost it-and the embarrassing loses from that Mella/Ellisworth feud, she really has been slightly protected by WWE in retrospect, even though we all want the killer Asuka back. Since she’s been there in WWE, she only has 7 loses total and since her TV return, she hasn’t lost. Now, if Naomi and her loses on Saturday, let’s see who will eat the pin. I do believe she will SD champ next year and sometimes we have to be patient, which is hard for alot of fans to do. We don’t know where this tag team of her and Naomi is going. And just because she is another victim of WWE’s terrible creative decisions, doesn’t mean all of sudden a fan of hers shouldn’t care about her. Do you stop caring about a football team if they loses or pulls a player from the game? Ijs
