Here is what we learned from Smackdown this week.
1) The Smackdown Set Looked Like A Video Game
This week’s episode of Smackdown took place at the WWE Performance Center. The show was moved from Detroit due to the Coronavirus epidemic that is dominating headlines around the World.
The set design at the WWE Performance Center made Smackdown look like it was from a video game:
2) A Unique & Surreal Opening To Smackdown
Smackdown this week opened in a very unique way. Triple H got on the microphone and spoke about the WWE Performance Center. He also told those watching at home that he wants WWE to do what they do best and entertain fans.
This was a weird but surreal opening to Smackdown.
3) Triple H Had A Great Vince McMahon Impression
Smackdown opened with a women’s tag team match: Bayley and Sasha Banks vs Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. Triple H was on commentary for the match.
While on commentary, Triple H gave us a solid Vince McMahon impression. I can’t lie, this made me chuckle.
