Here is what we learned from Smackdown this week.
1) A Weird Segment Opened Smackdown
Smackdown this week kicked off with Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. They ended up hosting Carmella on “A Moment Of Bliss”. After a little bit, they were interrupted by Bayley and they exchanged some words.
I have to say, this was a weird way to open the show. The crowd wasn’t really into it and it started things off on the wrong foot. Nothing against the ladies involved but this just felt like a weird way to open the show.
2) Carmella And Bayley Put On A Fun Match
The episode featured a Smackdown Women’s Championship match between Bayley and Carmella.
This ended up being a pretty fun match. Props to both ladies.
3) Bayley Retained The Smackdown Women’s Championship
The Smackdown Women’s Championship match was eventually won by Bayley. This came after Bayley cheated to get the pinfall victory.
As a result, Bayley is still the Smackdown Women’s Champion.
