The main event of Smackdown was the contract signing between Adam Pearce and Roman Reigns.
Adam Pearce signed the contract but said that he is not medically cleared to compete. He picked Kevin Owens as his replacement.
It will now be Kevin Owens vs Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship.
