Here is what we learned from Smackdown this week.
1) Roman Reigns Is Not The Biggest Fan Of Adam Pearce
This week’s episode of Smackdown opened with Roman Reigns. He ended up calling out Adam Pearce. This comes after Adam made the match last week between Kevin Owens and Jey Uso.
Roman ended up ripping into Pearce during the opening segment. This was some solid promo work from Roman, who made Pearce look extremely uncomfortable.
2) The Intercontinental Title Match Had A Screwy Finish
The episode featured a match for the Intercontinental Championship: Big E vs Apollo Crews.
This match ended up having a screwy finish before going to the commercial break. After the commercial, it was announced that it was a double pinfall, which meant that Big E retained his title.
3) WWE Teased An Apollo Crews Heel Turn
Big E and Apollo Crews ended up facing off in a rematch. This came after Apollo slapped Big E.
It seems like WWE might be teasing a heel turn for Crews in the future.
