Here is what we learned from Smackdown this week.
1) The Miz Wants Daniel Bryan To Beat The Fiend For “Everyone”
Smackdown this week kicked off with a backstage segment involving Daniel Bryan and The Miz. During the segment, The Miz told Daniel that he needs to beat ‘The Fiend’ at the Royal Rumble. Not just for him but for “everyone”.
The Miz will be cheering for Bryan at the Royal Rumble. He definitely won’t be alone.
2) Dana Brooke And Lacey Evans Won The Women’s Tag Team Match
The first match of the episode was Bayley and Sasha Banks vs Lacey Evans and Dana Brooke vs Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.
The match was eventually won by Dana and Lacey. This came after Dana pinned Sasha. A big win for both ladies, especially Dana.
3) Could Lacey Evans And Dana Brooke Be The Next Challengers For The WWE Women’s Tag Titles?
After the win from Lacey Evans and Dana Brooke, all I could think about is what this could mean for the future. I feel like this might have been a hint at Lacey and Dana getting the next shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.
I don’t think WWE has them go over two legitimate tag teams unless there was a tag team title match in their future. It will be interesting to see what happens.
