Here are some of our predictions for Smackdown Live this week.
7) The Bar Will Defeat The Usos
WWE has confirmed a tag team match for Smackdown. The Usos will face the Bar. If the Usos win, they will get a future Smackdown Tag Team Championship match.
Traditional logic would be that the Usos will defeat the Bar to set up a Title match down the road. I actually don’t think that will happen. I have the Bar winning here and moving on to a different team.
I think SANITY or Anderson/ Gallows will get the next Title match. As a result, I think the Bar wins this week.
6) Rusev vs Shinsuke Nakamura Will Get Confirmed For The Royal Rumble
It seems clear that the feud between Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev is far from over. Last week, we saw Nakamura attack Rusev from behind during his celebration.
My guess is that WWE confirms Nakamura vs Rusev for the U.S Title at the Rumble.
Should be another solid match between these two.
5) Nikki Cross Will Appear On Smackdown This Week
It seems clear to me that Nikki Cross will be joining the Smackdown roster. WWE has been advertising her call-up for the past few weeks.
Nikki has been working Smackdown live events recently. She also has her old buddies, SANITY, on the blue brand. I think it just makes sense for her to join Smackdown.
My guess is that Nikki appears on the episode this week. Probably a backstage segment with SANITY or something.
