4) Braun Strowman Will Defeat Cesaro
Braun Strowman is clearly being set up as the next challenger for Shinsuke Nakamura and his WWE Intercontinental Championship. I think that match will take place at the Royal Rumble PPV.
On Smackdown this week, my guess is that Strowman will face off against Cesaro. This would make sense as Cesaro has been aligned with Nakamura for several weeks now. It also seems like an easy way to advance this storyline.
If this match happens, Strowman will definitely win.
3) Sheamus Will Defeat A Local Jobber In His In-Ring Return
WWE has been airing vignettes over the past few weeks on Smackdown to hype the return of Sheamus.
My guess is that Sheamus is going to actually make his in-ring return on the episode this week.
This will likely be a squash match, with Sheamus destroying a local jobber. This will push that Sheamus is someone to watch out for on Smackdown in 2020.
2) ‘The Fiend’ Will Attack Daniel Bryan
On Smackdown last week, Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz and King Corbin. As a result, Bryan earned a WWE Universal Championship match against Bray Wyatt at the Royal Rumble.
Bryan has been on top for the past few weeks, so I see him getting attacked by ‘The Fiend’ on the episode.
This will let Bryan know that he is getting ‘The Fiend’ at the Royal Rumble and not just regular Bray.
