Here are some of our predictions for this week’s episode of Smackdown.
7) Lacey Evans vs Bayley Will Get Officially Confirmed For TLC
On Smackdown last week, Lacey Evans was attacked from behind by Bayley. This came after Lacey was distracted by Sasha Banks.
It seems pretty clear that we are heading towards Bayley vs Lacey at TLC for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. My guess is that WWE will make that match official on Smackdown this week.
I also wouldn’t be surprised to see Sasha vs Lacey happen on Smackdown leading to interference from Bayley. Either way, I think that Bayley vs Lacey will get confirmed for the PPV.
6) The New Day And The Revival Will Get Into A Big Brawl
Last week on Smackdown, The Revival became the number one contenders for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles. They will now face off against The New Day at TLC.
I think that we are going to see a big brawl between The Revival and The New Day on the episode this week.
There isn’t much time to develop a storyline here since TLC is on Sunday. As a result, a brawl is probably WWE’s best bet to generate some (quick) interest in this feud.
5) Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross Will Defeat Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville
Last week on Smackdown, Alexa Bliss defeated Mandy Rose. I have a feeling that we are going to see a tag team match next in this storyline.
A safe guess is that it will be Alexa and Nikki Cross vs Mandy and Sonya Deville on Smackdown.
If that match does happen, I think that Alexa and Nikki will win. I see WWE giving them the next shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles after TLC, so a win here would make sense for Bliss & Cross.
