Here are some of our predictions for this week’s episode of Smackdown.
7) The Fiend Will Attack John Cena
WWE has officially confirmed that John Cena will be appearing on this week’s episode of Smackdown.
My guess is that Cena is going to get attacked by The Fiend during the episode. These two haven’t done anything physical since their match was announced. It is time for WWE to crank up the heat in this storyline.
I see Cena getting laid out by The Fiend to hype their match this weekend.
6) Chad Gable Will Come To The Aid Of Daniel Bryan & Drew Gulak
Daniel Bryan vs Sami Zayn has been officially confirmed for Wrestlemania 36. Bryan only has Drew Gulak watching his back right now, which means that he is outnumbered by Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Cesaro.
My guess is that Chad Gable is going to come to the aid of Bryan and Gulak on the episode this week. If this seems random to you, Bryan recently teased this on Twitter. I also really want to see Gable join their group.
This could potentially give us a 6-man tag team match on the episode: Daniel Bryan, Drew Gulak and Chad Gable vs Sami Zayn vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs Cesaro. That sounds like fun to me.
5) Mandy Rose Will Be Announced As The Special Guest Referee For Otis vs Dolph Ziggler
Last week on Smackdown, WWE confirmed that Otis and Dolph Ziggler will be facing off at Wrestlemania 36.
This week, I expect Mandy Rose to get announced for a role in this match. My guess is that she will be named the special guest referee.
This would make sense as Mandy has been the focal point of the entire storyline over the past several weeks.
