2) Ronda Rousey And Becky Lynch Will Swap Brands In 2019
Some rumors broke recently that FOX wants Ronda Rousey when the show moves over to their network in 2019. I think this actually makes a ton of sense based on Ronda’s MMA background. FOX can market the hell out of her on their sports shows and she would be a valuable asset for them.
If Ronda is going to Smackdown, a big name is going to have to go the other way. My early guess would be that Becky Lynch will move to RAW. This would be after Becky wins the RAW Women’s Title from Ronda at Wrestlemania 35.
I like the idea of keeping Ronda and Becky on separate brands. I think they will swap in 2019.
1) WWE Will Attempt To Implement Some Sort Of Ranking System On Smackdown (Similar To The UFC)
With all of the rumors about Smackdown going in more of a sports direction with their move to FOX, I have a feeling that WWE will attempt to implement some sort of ranking system for Smackdown.
This would be similar to how the UFC currently does it. Fighters are ranked and move up and down the rankings based on wins and losses. The Champion usually ends up facing the top contender (or one of the top few contenders).
WWE sort of tried this with the Smackdown top 10 list and it failed. I think that they will try it again when they move to FOX. Would make sense that FOX would want something similar to the UFC.
