7) The U.S Title Match Never Happened (And Baron Corbin Kayfabe Injured His Leg)
Smackdown Live this week was supposed to feature a United States Championship match. AJ Styles was scheduled to defend his title against Baron Corbin.
It didn’t end up happening after Tye Dillinger interfered to attack Corbin. Corbin hurt his leg and couldn’t compete. We know that it was a kayfabe injury because Styles used the calf crusher on the injured leg.

8) Triple Threat Match Teased For Hell in a Cell
It seems clear that WWE will be going with a triple threat match at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View for the U.S Title. After Dillinger interfered in the Corbin vs Styles match, it appears like he could be getting involved.
Corbin promised that he would get even with both of them. So are you guys down for a triple threat? I am just happy Dillinger is getting involved.
After that segment I hope we get a triple threat for the #USTitle but I hope Baron isn’t seriously injured #WWE #SDLive

A triple threat would be a nice way to get the title off AJ or so I hope. AJ doesn’t have to get pinned. #SDLive

9) Charlotte Flair Returned To Smackdown Live
Charlotte Flair hadn’t been seen on Smackdown Live for the past several weeks. Charlotte had been at the side of her father: Ric Flair as he has been dealing with his health issues.
Charlotte has been backstage for the past few episodes but this week marked her official return to television. Good to see the Queen back!
