1) Tom Phillips Is Back From His ‘Assignment’
For the past few weeks, Tom Phillips has been absent from the Smackdown Live announce team. Phillips had been replaced by Michael Cole and we were told that Phillips was ‘on assignment’.
Phillips returned this week to the booth alongside Corey Graves and Byron Saxton!

2) Shane McMahon Named Himself Captain Of Team Smackdown Live
This weeks episode of Smackdown Live kicked off with Commissioner: Shane McMahon. Shane spoke about his invasion of Monday Night RAW last week.
After Kurt Angle was announced as the captain of Team RAW, Shane has named himself captain of Team Smackdown Live! Shane vs Kurt just like old times at Survivor Series.

3) Bobby Roode Earned A Spot On Team Smackdown Live
The first match of the night on Smackdown Live was Bobby Roode vs Dolph Ziggler. This was a 2 out of 3 falls match with the winner earning a place on Team Smackdown Live at Survivor Series.
The first fall was won by Dolph Ziggler. The second fall was won by Bobby Roode. The third fall was won by Roode, who earned himself a spot on Team Smackdown Live.
