6) Rey Mysterio Defeats Shinsuke Nakamura
A match that has been confirmed for the episode is Rey Mysterio vs Shinsuke Nakamura. This will be for a spot in the WWE World Cup tournament at Crown Jewel.
I think a pretty easy prediction is Rey winning to advance to the tournament. I doubt WWE would have him lose his first match back. Also, Rey fits the mold of the established and older stars that have been confirmed for the World Cup already.
I think Rey is a lock for a win here.
5) Shane McMahon Returns
Shane McMahon hasn’t been seen on Smackdown Live for several months now. He is still the acting Commissioner of the show.
I think that Shane will be returning for the episode. He is a no-brainer for some sort of backstage segment or something on the show. He has plenty of history with Smackdown, so it makes sense to put him on the show.
I am not sure what he is going to do but I would be surprised if he doesn’t pop up.
4) LayCool Confronts The IIconics
Michelle McCool is currently being advertised for an appearance on the episode. I would not be surprised to see her partner in crime, Layla show up along with her.
I think a fun moment would be if Layla and Michelle confronted the IIconics. There have been some comparisons made between them so this could be a really fun moment.
Maybe even WWE teases a match between them at Evolution?
