– Our Winner: Daniel Bryan vs Kofi Kingston – Wrestlemania 35
My pick for the 2019 WWE match of the year is Kofi Kingston vs Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania 35.
To me, this match had the perfect storyline. Kofi Kingston was on an incredible rise to the top and the crowd was very behind him. Daniel Bryan became the villain who he fought against 5 years ago when he had his big Wrestlemania moment.
Fans were emotionally invested and it ended up being a really good match. The cherry on top was Kofi finally winning the WWE Championship in a feel-good moment.
The storyline was fantastic and the match delivered. To me, this was the best match of the year from an overall standpoint.
