2017 Entertainer of The Year Award

IWNerd’s Pick: Breezango

• An easy pick for me. Tyler Breeze and Fandango are co-winners for their work on the Fashion Files. I have found myself incredibly entertained by this duo and their segments on Smackdown Live over the past several months. They have transformed from a tag team that was not being used to being one of my favorite parts of Tuesday nights. Incredible that they entertained us so much from mostly backstage segments. They deserve the award for entertainers of the year.

Michael’s Pick:  Breezango

• Breezango has had an interesting 2017 but their Fashion Files segments have caught fire. Parodied segments of popular movies & TV shows have made them a household name. Fans on social media have already been wanting a weekly Fashion Files show on the WWE Network. If this doesn’t have Entertainers Of The Year written all over it, then Breezango are on the case to solve why it is not.

IWNerd’s Pick: The Festival Of Friendship

• I feel like I need to give a shout out first to the segment where Reigns crashed the Ambulance with Strowman still inside. That would win any other year, except for 2017. The Festival of Friendship has to be the winner of best segment. This was entertaining from start to finish. The segment was funny and also made fans sad when Owens turned on Jericho. One of the best turns that we have seen in recent memory and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Great storytelling and loved how it all went down.

Michael’s Pick:  The Festival Of Friendship

• There are very few moments in the WWE, where moments tug at your heartstrings. And the Festival Of Friendship was one of them. Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens had a friendship that we all rooted for but we all knew would come to an end someday. Owens presenting his BFF Jericho with a brand new list, we all could not be happier especially Jericho himself. In irony fashion (big props to the writers) when Jericho realized he was holding “The List Of Owens” & that Jericho was the only name on the list, our hearts sunk. Owens then proceeded to attack his former BFF including throwing him into the Jeri-tron 5000, ironies were going thru the roof. This segment was truly one of the best-written segments to send home this incredible feud & it definitely set the bar for future tag team breakups to come. This was simply The Best Segment Of The Year & We All Drank it In Man.
