The big story in WWE at the moment is the reunion of the Shield. It hasn’t officially happened yet, but last week on RAW fans received a major tease to close the show. Roman Reigns was joined by Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. They all gave each other a knowing look to close the show.
It is clear that the Shield will be reuniting and rumors suggest that they will be wrestling at the upcoming TLC Pay-Per-View.
So why is WWE doing a Shield reunion now and not saving it for a bigger show like Wrestlemania?
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), there is a reason for WWE doing the Shield reunion right now instead of waiting for a bigger show. WWE was reportedly concerned about TLC without appearances from their big draws: Brock Lesnar or John Cena at the event. As a result, WWE decided to reunite the Shield to give the event an added boost.
This coincides with the original report from James McKenna of Pro Wrestling Sheet who said that they were reuniting to try and help boost ticket sales for TLC.
If you are wondering why WWE is waiting until the October 9th episode of RAW to have them reunite, we have a pretty fascinating fact for you. If you are in the Minnesota area, buy some cheap WWE TLC tickets here.

Exacly, boost TLC and also because they got Bigger plan for Reigns at WM! and also they think that if they brought back the Shield together it will brought back the Fan to Reigns! To make it short they bring them back together ’cause they think “it’s best for buisness”
