2017 has been a busy year for WWE in regards to Pay-Per-View events. At the end of the year if things stay as scheduled, there will have been 16 total WWE Pay-Per-View events. In some months, this meant that fans saw two events, sometimes only 2 weeks apart.
Some fans seem to enjoy the more content that they are receiving. Others think that it is simply too much to keep up with.
Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), provided some information on the WWE Pay-Per-View Schedule for 2018. If you thought that it was too much content, you will be happy with the news.
Meltzer says that they are doing a lot fewer Pay-Per-Views in 2018. He doesn’t know if it will be the case for the entire year but up until Wrestlemania 34, there won’t be any two Pay-Per-View months. In other words, one event a month until Wrestlemania 34.
As of right now, the schedule looks to be: Survivor Series (November), Clash Of Champions (December), Royal Rumble (January). 2 events to be officially announced (1 for February and 1 for March). This will lead to Wrestlemania 34 in April.
Are you on the side that wants more or less per month?
