One of the biggest stories coming out of the ‘Superstar Shake-Up’ is that all 3 members of the Shield are now on the same brand. Dean Ambrose made his way over from Smackdown Live, while Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins stayed put on the red brand.
Naturally, fans immediately got excited for a potential reunion of the Shield on RAW now that they are all on the same brand.
According to rumors, there is no current plan for a Shield reunion to happen anytime soon even though they are on RAW together.
WWE still wants all 3 guys to achieve success on their own. There is no question that there will be some interaction between the 3 on RAW over the next several months but fans shouldn’t expect a full-blown reunion anytime soon.
Let’s face it, when the Shield does reunite, it is going to be a massive moment. They are likely going to save it for a big storyline leading into a Wrestlemania match. We have noted prior that the plans for Wrestlemania 34 look to be Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar, making this year unlikely for a reunion.
There is also a bit of talk about an Ambrose heel turn coming soon. This could set up a heel Ambrose vs a face Seth Rollins for the next few months. We will have to wait and see if that happens.

If these rumors turn out to be true, a Shield reunion is not expected to happen this year. Good news for fans of the faction is that we will see them reunite one day and for a huge Wrestlemania match. My personal hopes are for the Shield vs The Balor Club.
