Alexa Bliss will be defending her Smackdown Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania 33. She will be defending against ‘any available female’ on the Smackdown live roster, as announced by General Manager: Daniel Bryan a few weeks ago.
We already know that Natalya, Carmella, Mickie James and Becky Lynch are confirmed to compete in the match.
Who else will be added?
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), WWE is planning a few surprises for the match at Wrestlemania.
Some names that are currently being rumored to participate in the match:
Naomi
- All depends on if her knee is good to go. Her dad recently teased that she would be good to go.
Summer Rae
- Currently working out at the WWE Performance Center for a return. On RAW officially but WWE could switch to Smackdown since she hasn’t been used since the WWE Draft.
Tamina
- Has been working Smackdown house shows for the past few weeks.

Eva Marie
- Her name is constantly brought up in rumors. She hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since she violated the WWE wellness policy several months ago.
There are also some talks about one or two former females returning for the match. Kelly Kelly and Victoria are both names that are constantly brought up.
Expect to see some surprises at Wrestlemania 33 in regards to this match.
