Tag Team Possibly Moving To Smackdown Live At The ‘Superstar Shake Up’

This upcoming week on WWE TV will be the ‘Superstar Shake-Up’, where big changes will be made to the RAW and Smackdown Live rosters. This will be a way for WWE to freshen up feuds on both brands now that Wrestlemania 33 is over.

One of the areas that needs help in WWE is the Smackdown Live tag team division. The division has not been featured much over the past several weeks on Smackdown Live. There was no match for the Smackdown Tag Titles at Wrestlemania 33, giving you an indication of how the division is valued by WWE.

Here are the latest rumors

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), The New Day is currently penciled in to be heading over to Smackdown Live during the ‘Superstar Shake-Up’. Unless plans change over the next few days, the Smackdown tag team division could be getting a big shot in the arm.

This is a move that would make sense considering that the New Day have essentially feuded with every team on RAW over their record-breaking tag team title reign and Smackdown would give them a lot of new opponents.

Don’t be surprised if the New Day move to Smackdown Live during the ‘Superstar Shake-Up’. As of writing this, it is unclear what will be going back the other way to RAW for the 3 men. Some have suggested AJ Styles in a 3 for 1 trade but that remains as a rumor.
