It was revealed on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW that Kurt Angle had an illegitimate son. That son was WWE star: Jason Jordan of American Alpha. This reveal has shocked the WWE Universe. Some fans loved it, others hated it. One thing is clear, it has gotten fans talking over the past few weeks.
Now that Angle and Jordan are officially a father-son duo on RAW, it is time to think about what is next for them and this storyline.
Let’s speculate a little bit here.
– It looks like American Alpha is officially split up for the time being. Angle announced that Jordan is now a member of the RAW roster. It looks like the plan is to build both Gable and Jordan up as singles talents. The good news is this doesn’t mean American Alpha is split up for good and could lead to them reuniting (with Angle as their manager) one day.
– It is unclear if WWE will go any further with the mother in this whole storyline. Angle was asked in the post-RAW interview about her and he said that she was a very private person. That might be WWE’s way to just eliminate speculation.
– Jordan tweeted: “I am proud to be Gold-Blooded!!” after it was announced. This is only speculation but does that ever sound like a catchphrase we will probably hear from him moving forward.
– It should be a fun dynamic over the next few weeks to see how the other members of the RAW locker room react to Kurt and Jason. Especially if Angle starts to grant him some title shots. Regardless of what happens in the storyline, this should do wonders for the career of Jordan to be able to get the rub from someone like Kurt Angle.
What Is The Endgame?
– The endgame of this storyline could be Jordan vs Angle in an eventual match. The rub for Jordan would be great and there are many directions that they could go. A fan on twitter speculated on the long-term plans of the storyline:
People are missing the long game. Eventually Jordan will reveal he made it up to get an opportunity. Then we’ll get Jordan vs Angle.
