We are still a long way away from Wrestlemania 34 next year in New Orleans. We have already posted about the current plan for the RAW main event at the show, which will likely be Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title.
Now it is time to discuss what the blue brand has in store for us at the event. What Smackdown Live match will likely main event Wrestlemania 34?
With AJ Styles staying on Smackdown in the recent ‘Superstar Shake-Up’, this provides a ton of great matches for the blue brand moving forward.
According to a report from Billi Bhatti of the “Dirty Sheets’ podcast, the biggest match for Smackdown Live at Wrestlemania 34 will be AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura. A lot can change over the next several months, so we will be keeping an eye on this one to see if it turns out to be true.
This is a match that fans have seen before, as it happened at Wrestle Kingdom 10 for New Japan Pro Wrestling. The match was desired by many fans for Wrestlemania 33, instead of AJ facing off against Shane McMahon. Nakamura didn’t make his debut until the Smackdown Live after Wrestlemania and AJ vs Shane turned out to be a great match.

WWE would be insane not to book this match with both of them on the Smackdown Live roster. This is a big-money match and warrants a Wrestlemania main event. Lets hope this rumor turns out to be true and we see them face off in a WWE ring. There is no doubt that they would steal the show.
