Roman Reigns will be facing off against the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33. Their rivalry began at the 2017 Royal Rumble where Reigns eliminated the Undertaker from the rumble match. On the March 6th episode of Monday Night RAW, the Undertaker returned to chokeslam Reigns, setting this match into motion.
This match has gotten a lot of attention from fans over the past several weeks. Some are excited for the match and a lot of fans are unhappy with the potential of Reigns beating the Undertaker in possibly the final match of his career.
Here is what is circulating
One of the main talking points surrounding the match is a potential Roman Reigns heel turn. The idea is that Reigns will be getting a ton of boos from fans as he faces off against the much beloved: Undertaker. One of the most popular theories is that Reigns will cheat to defeat the Undertaker and launch a full-blown heel turn, something that has been much desired from fans.
Unfortunately, current rumors suggest that this is NOT the plan and Reigns will not turn heel at Wrestlemania 33. Vince McMahon sees him in the same light as John Cena where they don’t care that he is getting a lot of boo’s. As long as fans are making noise for his matches, Vince is not going to change his mind.

Besides, imagine the heat that Reigns will receive if he defeats the Undertaker clean at Wrestlemania? Even without a full-blown (traditional) heel turn for his character, Reigns will be the biggest heel in the company. Like it or not, WWE views Reigns as the next John Cena and are going to book him as a character that toes the line between heel and babyface.
Don’t expect a traditional heel turn from Reigns at Wrestlemania 33 that many fans desire but expect Reigns to walk out of Wrestlemania as the biggest heel in the company regardless.
