You might have noticed that there has been a lack of pyro use on WWE television over the past few weeks. This was most notable during the entrance of Brock Lesnar this past weekend for his match at ‘Great Balls Of Fire’. Many fans were wondering what was going on because that is usually a staple of his entrance.
So why are we seeing less and less pyro on WWE television these days?
According to Dave Meltzer on the Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, the reason is simply financial.
Meltzer says WWE is using less and less pyro as a way to cut their weekly costs. The company also doesn’t feel like it is necessary to do all the time.
It remains unclear if WWE will use pyro for some of their bigger events like Summerslam and Wrestlemania. If we had to guess, we would assume that they will still keep it for their bigger shows.
This brings up an interesting question. How do you feel about WWE cutting down on their pyro? Is it something that you can live without on a weekly basis or do you think it adds to the show?

Let us know what you think in the comment section below.
With people like Brock who barely feature it’d be nice, and I think it goes without saying you need pyro for PPVs.
I think it shows how much money they’re truly not getting anymore. They really need to realize what their doing isn’t working and change it. They’ve never had a problem in the past, now they are. Notice your problems and fix it to get the money you need
