Potential Trade In The ‘Superstar Shake-Up’

Vince McMahon announced on RAW this past week that there will be a ‘Superstar Shake-Up’ coming to both RAW and Smackdown Live. This means that superstars will be switching brands in order to create fresh and unique feuds for both rosters moving forward.

One of the biggest things expected to happen is for the Women’s division to see some big changes when the shake-up happens.

So what ladies are rumored to be switching brands???

The biggest rumor circulating so far is that Charlotte Flair will be making her way to Smackdown Live as a part of the shake-up. Going the other way to RAW in the deal will be Alexa Bliss.

Many people believe that Charlotte and Sasha Banks need be on separate brands moving forward. They have faced each other so much over the past year that WWE (and fans) want them away from one another. The reasoning behind Charlotte going to Smackdown is because there is still a storyline building between Sasha and Bayley that needs to play out (including a potential heel turn). This would also allow Charlotte to instantly be thrown right back into the title picture on Smackdown, instead of sitting on the sidelines on RAW.

As for Alexa Bliss, she just lost her Smackdown Women’s Title to Naomi at Wrestlemania and the subsequent rematch. Similar to Charlotte,  instead of sitting out of the title picture on Smackdown moving forward, she will be able to feud with Bayley right away on RAW. Being a former champion, it also makes a trade for Charlotte seem very fair in the eyes of the WWE audience.

We will have to wait and see what happens!
