NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III takes place this Saturday night. The match card is loaded already, with a big time match between Drew McIntyre and Bobby Roode for the NXT Title. The show will also see Asuka defend her NXT Women’s Title against Ember Moon and several other matches.
One of the matches at the event could be getting a pretty cool entrance in Brooklyn. That match is Hideo Itami vs Aleister Black.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Black could be getting a live musical entrance at the event.
This would include the band: ‘Code Orange’ [who are the band behind the song: “Bleeding In The Blur” which is one of the Takeover themes] and Brendan Garrone, of the band ‘Incendiary’ playing him to the ring.
Black’s theme song: ‘Root of All Evil’ features ‘Incendiary’. The band is from the New York area.
We have seen live musical performances at NXT Takeover events in the past. This includes performances for Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakmura.
Meltzer says that it isn’t 100% confirmed but something that has been heavily discussed. We will have to wait and see but something to watch out for on Saturday night!
