Hint About The Post-Summerslam Plans For John Cena

John Cena will have his hands full on Tuesday night as he faces off against Shinsuke Nakamura. The winner will earn themselves a shot at Jinder Mahal and the WWE Championship at Summerslam.

While it looks like Cena could potentially be challenging for the WWE Championship at Summerslam, there has been talk about what his plans are for after the event. Here is the latest on the post-Summerslam plans for Cena.

Cena is currently advertised for the No Mercy Pay-Per-View in September. What is interesting is that the event is RAW exclusive. Cena is a ‘free agent’ and is able to go from RAW to Smackdown Live as he pleases. After Summerslam it appears as if we will be seeing Cena use his ‘free agent’ status to move to the red brand for the first time.

Another interesting note is a live event he is being advertised for. On August 27th in Tupelo, Mississippi, there is another ‘dream match’ involving John Cena. The event is advertising John Cena vs Samoa Joe as the main event. Could this be indicating Cena’s post-Summerslam feud? We will have to wait and see.
