The Mae Young Classic Tournament will be released on the WWE Network starting on August 28th. We have some new information to share about the Tournament finals and the current plans.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), the current plan is for WWE to shoot a one-hour special after Smackdown on September 12th in Las Vegas.
If you have followed along with the tournament spoilers, you know that the finals will be Kairi Sane vs Shayna Baszler. This will not be the only match on the live special. According to Meltzer, most (if not all) of the 32 participants will be brought in to Vegas for the show.
He says that there could be as many as 3 other Women’s matches on the show (featuring tournament participants).
It is also unclear at the moment what WWE will do with 205 Live that week. This is because the finals will be taking 205 Live’s usual time slot. We will have to wait and see if it gets canceled for the week or follows the finals.
Anyone in the Las Vegas area, you can buy tickets for the Smackdown/ live special here.
There are also some rumors that we could see the Four Horsewomen vs Four Horsewomen feud develop more during this live special. We will have to wait and see.
