John Cena will be facing off against Roman Reigns at the upcoming No Mercy Pay-Per-View. You have probably heard the buzz that is going around about Cena and his movie career. He will be starring in the Transformers spin-off: ‘Bumblebee’, that is coming out next year. He is also rumored to be a finalist to land the role as the superhero: Shazam.
For WWE fans, what does this all mean for Cena’s wrestling future?
We have an idea thanks to WWE’s advertising for the next few Pay-Per-View events. The card is always subject to change but the advertising was spot on for Cena appearing at No Mercy, so we are going with it again.
Cena is NOT advertised for the TLC Pay-Per-View in October. This is the next RAW exclusive event after No Mercy.
On the other hand, Cena is being advertised for Survivor Series in November.
Our speculation: If both of these are accurate, it looks like a rematch between Cena and Reigns will not be happening at TLC. Maybe WWE does Team Cena vs Team Reigns at Survivor Series? Could be fun, with Ambrose and Rollins joining Reigns. We will to wait and see what they decide to do. Cena vs Reigns seems like a feud that should last for a couple of Pay-Per-View’s.
I would be very surprised if No Mercy was the end of their feud.
