‘Great Balls Of Fire’ will mark the first time that Brock Lesnar has defended his WWE Universal Championship since winning it at Wrestlemania 33. Brock will defend his title against Samoa Joe at the event in a highly anticipated match.
There have also been multiple rumors circulating about Lesnar and his potential opponent at ‘Summerslam’. Regardless of who he faces, Brock is expected to wrestle at the event.
But what about after?
Brock is currently being advertised by WWE.com to wrestle at the ‘No Mercy’ Pay-Per-View. The event takes place on September 24th, 2017 in Los Angeles. This is the Pay-Per-View event directly after Summerslam.
This means that Brock will be wrestling at 3 straight events for the RAW brand. This is very interesting because of how little he has defended his Universal Title for the first few months of his reign.
Also, this could indicate Brock will be losing the title at ‘Summerslam’ and ‘No Mercy’ would be the event where he gets his rematch. This is only speculation and we will have to wait and see what happens.
As of writing this, Brock isn’t being advertised by WWE for the ‘Tables, Ladders and Chairs’ event in October or ‘Survivor Series‘ in November.
