WWE Rumors Of The Day (May 4th, 2018):
– According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, the original plans for Daniel Bryan on Smackdown Live this week were changed. Bryan was originally scheduled to interrupt the segment between Big Cass and the little person who was being used to mock him. Sapp says that Bryan’s part of the segment was scrapped because WWE didn’t like the way that his chest bruises looked for TV.
– According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Daniel Bryan will now be working a full-time house show schedule moving forward.
– Meltzer adds that the following matches will be happening at WWE live events over the next few months for the Smackdown brand:
- AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Title,
- Daniel Bryan vs. the Miz
- Jeff Hardy vs. Rusev for the U.S. title
