– The Tennessean recently reported that Rey Mysterio will be joining the new Aro Lucha promotion as both a performer and a co-owner.
– While saying that, Mysterio is still in talks with WWE according to Dave Meltzer. Here is what he said on Wrestling Observer Radio (via Wrestling INC):
“A lot of people look at that and go, ‘oh he’s not going to WWE.’ He may not. He is absolutely in talks with them [WWE] right now. [The Aro Lucha story] does not change that story.”
– The official WrestleMania magazine revealed that Mark Henry will be inducted into the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame class. Mike Johnson of PWInsider says that he will be the final person inducted. Henry joins Goldberg, Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley, Ivory, Hillbilly Jim, Jeff Jarrett, Kid Rock and Jarius “JJ” Robertson.
