WWE Rumors Of The Day (April 18th, 2018):

– As noted prior, WWE recently filed for the trademark Colin Cassady. This was the name that Big Cass used prior to having it changed. He was referred to as Big Cass on Smackdown Live this week but his Twitter name is ‘Colin Cassady’. We will have to wait and see if WWE ends up making the change down the road.

– There were some rumors floating around on Tuesday that Goldust had retired. It turns out that Goldust is not hanging up his wrestling boots. Here is what he posted:

– Brad Shepard of Bodyslam.net reports that Stone Cold Steve Austin turned down WWE’s offer for him to appear at the Greatest Royal Rumble event. Here is a quote from Shepard:

“A source in WWE told me that the Saudi show is a big, big deal to Vince and there is no short-selling that. He isn’t flying every upper level talent he can find to Saudi Arabia without good reason (that 10-year deal being quite a good reason). They are throwing everything including the kitchen sink at it. They wanted Austin to show up too, but he declined.”
