WWE Rumors Of The Day: April 15th, 2018
– Wrestling DVD Network reports that the WrestleMania 34 DVD will NOT include the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on it. This is because of the long runtime of the show. The WWE Hall of Fame has been included in every Wrestlemania DVD since 2005. It will be replaced by the RAW After ‘Mania episode.
The DVD will also include the kickoff show matches, which wasn’t the case last year.

– According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Undertaker vs Cena was planned for a few months prior to Wrestlemania. At some point, they realized that Undertaker couldn’t work a lengthy match. Meltzer adds that this was the reason for the build of the match being what it was with fans questioning if the Undertaker would show up or not.
The idea was to tease the Undertaker being there but downplaying that it would be one of the biggest matches on the show. If WWE would have had done a traditional build with the Undertaker appearing on RAW a few weeks prior, fans would have expected a full (and lengthy) match.
