This years Money in the Bank ladder match [for the men] features some big names. AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler, Baron Corbin and Sami Zayn will compete to win the contract.
The winner will walk away with a guaranteed opportunity for the WWE Championship (whenever they want it).
So who is the current favorite to win the match?
Dave Meltzer was a guest this week on The LAW: Live Audio Wrestling. The show discussed the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View and asked Meltzer for his prediction.
Dave says that he thinks Baron Corbin has a good chance to walk away as the winner. WWE is apparently very high on Corbin and he is the guy that they have talked about elevating.
The Money in the Bank briefcase is usually used to elevate a certain talent. Sometimes it works like it did with Edge and sometimes it doesn’t (the show brings up Damien Sandow as an example of it not working).
Although he picks him to win the briefcase, Meltzer says that he doesn’t see a Jinder Mahal vs. Baron Corbin program. This could mean Corbin would hold onto the briefcase for a while if he does end up winning.

Still plenty of time before Money in the Bank and WWE could go another direction. Regardless, Corbin will be a big-time threat when the match happens. Let us know who you think will win in the comment section below.
