Smackdown Live’s announcing crew has been without Mauro Ranallo for the past several weeks. On Smackdown Live, Tom Phillips said that Mauro was missing due to snow. The second week, he said that Mauro was sick. The third week, there was no mention at all about Mauro and his status.
Mauro missed Wrestlemania 33 and two nights after on Smackdown Live. Mauro is reportedly dealing with some health issues right now.
Many fans have pointed out that Mauro has removed any mention from WWE in his twitter bio. It now reads:
“SHOWTIME Boxing/
@rutten_ranallo/ COMBAT SPORTS CAROUSEL/ Mental Health Advocate”
Some fans have also pointed out that he has unfollowed multiple WWE stars on Twitter and deleted his comments about Wrestlemania this past weekend.
Mauro also tweeted that he will be back to podcasting this week:
With the new Karma 11 Media Lab Studios set to open next week, @BasRuttenMMA & I will be back in the podcasting biz with @rutten_ranallo
— Mauro Ranallo (@mauroranallo) April 7, 2017
This all has many people speculating that he could be finished with WWE.

There has been nothing official yet, so that is why this is tagged as a rumor. We will wait and see if Mauro or WWE comments on the situation.
Let us know what you think in the comment section below.
So sad…. he was dealing with mental health issues and I certainly hope if he is done with the WWE that it was his decision and not theirs….
I like Mauro and hope for the best for him… but I prefer more traditional commentary. Mauro was/is a little too animated for my liking. again, wish him nothing but the best… but I think its why we saw JR sign a new deal to return for 30-40 dates this year.
