The Future Of The Hype Bros

On Smackdown Live this week, WWE teased a split between the Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley). This was made clear after Mojo eliminated Ryder from the ‘Independence Day Battle Royal’ by throwing him over the top rope.

WWE fans have seen several tag teams break-up recently, could the Hype Bros be the next to officially split?

There are some rumors circulating that suggest their tension on Smackdown Live this week could be the beginning of the end for the Hype Bros as a team.

WWE has established Mojo as a singles star over the past few months while Ryder has been on the shelf with his knee injury. It seems like WWE is very high on Mojo as they had him win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 33. Ryder on the other hand is an established singles star on his own and has multiple (singles) titles on his resume. This makes it seem likely that they will split from one another when the time is right.

If they do split, who will be turning on who? You could make an argument for either guy to turn heel.

Regardless, it doesn’t look like the team will be together for much longer. If we had to guess, WWE will continue to tease their break-up over the next several weeks before it finally happens. No need to rush their storytelling.
