John Cena will be facing off against Baron Corbin at Summerslam this year. Rumors have been flying over the past few weeks about Cena moving over to the RAW brand in the near future. Cena is a ‘free agent’ in WWE and is able to move from RAW to Smackdown Live however he pleases.
It appears as if WWE fans should expect to see him switching brands very soon. Here are the details:
The Barclays Center in Brooklyn tweeted out that Cena will be appearing on the RAW after Summerslam:
We’re 10 days away from @WWE Monday Night RAW. Don’t miss Free Agent @JohnCena live here in Brooklyn on 8/21! #WWEBrooklyn pic.twitter.com/d4dMrsT5eW

This could just be for a dark segment, but it seems more likely that this will mark Cena’s official jump to RAW based on his schedule. Cena is scheduled to wrestle at the RAW branded No Mercy Pay-Per-View next month and is also scheduled for a few episodes of RAW.
