Bobby Roode made his debut on Smackdown Live this week. Roode appeared as a surprise to interrupt Aiden English. Roode went on to defeat English and cut a promo after the match announcing his ‘GLORIOUS’ arrival to Smackdown Live.
Here are some of the latest rumors circulating about Roode now that he is officially a member of the WWE main roster.
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet had an interesting comment on Twitter after Roode’s debut. He says that he was told Roode would be a babyface on the main roster. Roode had been working as a heel during his time in NXT. Being that Roode faced off against Aiden English (a heel), it gives some credence to the idea that Roode will be a babyface moving forward.
Was initially told Roode would be positioned as a face on #SDLive. Wrestling a heel tonight may confirm that. I assumed it would change.

After NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III, it was noted by Dave Meltzer that WWE is extremely high on Roode and he will likely be pushed as a main event talent moving forward.
