Bobby Roode lost the NXT Championship to Drew McIntyre at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III. This ended his run of over 200 plus days as the Champion of NXT.
Now that Roode has lost the title, there might be some big plans in store for him on the WWE main roster. Here are the latest rumors about Roode’s future.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), Roode will likely be called up soon to the main roster. Meltzer also says WWE is extremely high on Roode. He suggests Roode will get a main event level push as one of the top 5 guys on whatever show he goes to (RAW or Smackdown).
Also, it was noted by Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet that Roode is a likely call-up.
Since so many are asking, and because it’s sorta obvious, this would most likely start with Bobby Roode.
